WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU? 

I think of myself as a candid photographer with a documentary and artistic style. I combine aspects of traditional and lifestyle photography to capture authentic images for you to cherish forever. Following our photo session, you will receive a gallery of images that you can share in your home or in keepsake album to treasure for years to come. These photos will be an investment in your family history, with images that tell a story of you and your loved ones. I am not looking for a staged photo with everyone looking at the camera and smiling. If that happens, that’s great! But my goal is to capture all the little moments in between and the true love and joy in your family.

WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD?  

I am a natural light, on location photographer. We will work together to find the perfect location for your session. Newborn sessions are held at your home. Both indoor and outdoor sessions will be held at a time designed to enhance the natural light.

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR FOR OUR FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT? 

Choosing the right outfits can greatly enhance the look of your photos. Be comfortable, be yourself. Opt for coordinating colors rather than matching outfits. Soft, neutral tones and pastel colors often work well. Avoid bold patterns or logos that can be distracting. For newborn shoots, simple, timeless outfits or even just down to diaper can be adorable to capture true candid moments.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT DURING A FAMILY SESSION?

Our family lifestyle sessions are relaxed and natural. I focus on capturing genuine moments and emotions, rather than stiff poses. I might suggest some activities or prompts to help evoke authentic interactions among family members.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT DURING A NEWBORN SESSION? 

Within the comfort of your own home, your little one will have everything they need and be in a familiar environment. My newborn photo shoots capture candid, realistic moments with loved ones. Babies are not posed with excessive props or staged positions. I do not try to make you or your loved ones look perfect, stiff, or unnatural. Any posing is designed to capture real moments with your bundle of joy.

WHEN DO NEWBORN SESSIONS OCCUR? 

I like to do newborn sessions within the first two weeks of life. But my style allows some flexibility in scheduling.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE LOOK TO BOOK OUR SESSION?

It’s best to book your session as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time, especially for newborn sessions. I Recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance, but don’t hesitate to reach out even if it’s last minute, as I’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS AFTER THE SHOOT? 

My prices are all inclusive and include access to a digital library with a minimum 80 high resolution digital files (in both color and black and white) delivered via direct download and a print release. 

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES IN MY GALLERY FROM OUR SHOOT? 

I look through each image that we capture at your session and hand select the best images. I typically try to find photos that represent your family authentically through my artistic lens. I guarantee a minimum of 80 images. 

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES? 

My pricing is all inclusive – one price for our session and ALL the digital files. The total cost is $395.00 for all sessions. Bundle options are available to those who decide to book Maternity Sessions, Fresh 48 Sessions and Newborn Sessions together or in any combination. A 50% deposit is due when booking to secure your session date.
